So here is the deal: We will pay you 3500 naira for your efforts. You don’t need to be an expert—you just need to have English equal to that of a native speaker, a sense of humor.
It works like this: You write your articles (2000 – 2500 words minimum per article), you send it in, we reply and say “Great—we’ll publish it” and send you 3500 naira (any payment method, but we prefer your bank account); or we reply and say “Sorry—it isn’t the sort of thing our readers will love—give it another shot.” Just remember, your article should be easy to read with more than two paragraphs.
Either way you win—your article will be read by us and reviewed, and if it’s amazing it will appear on the front page and also be promoted with your name on it to be read by thousands of people a month!
The Rules
The rules are really pretty simple. As long as your article (and we do mean yours—don’t steal other people’s stuff or plagiarism) is 2000 – 2500 words you can choose any topic you like from our keyword cloud (you can reach out to us for the keyword cloud). We also need you to link to reputable sources (dofollow wesbite, to give your article more authenticity) so you can appear informed and knowledgeable about our topic to the users. Just remember—if it’s good enough to publish (by our standards) you get ₦3,500 —simple as that.
To help you out with some ideas, the articles our readers will like (and the ones we will most likely encourage you to write) are articles relating to our services or services we offer—articles that are demystifying some myth on our services (how to make money with a website), problems they can face online, hidden knowledge (things most people don’t know), misconceptions, and just really astonishing general knowledge about anything—marketing, for example. We don’t publish opinion articles.
Oh—and there’s one more thing: If you have a blog, a Twitter account, or a book you want to promote, mention it in the submissions form and we will stick it at the bottom of your article.
Pictures and Video
When you send in your list you need to include images or videos, and if you dont we will help (it does not stop you from sending your article). Our team of editors does a great job selecting the best images to complement your writing. However, if you are desperate to include some of your own supporting imagery or videos, just include a link to the YouTube page or a URL of the picture you like with each item on your article. We don’t promise we’ll use them, but we’ll definitely consider them.
